Check out this example of modular construction using light-gauge steel framing used on the Osona Village Project in Okahandja, Namibia. It was constructed using Scottsdale steel framing machines by the modular construction specialty framer GPM Services from South Africa. This digital animation of the community, which on the whole entails 3,500 units, is an example not only how effective Scottsdale steel-framing technology is in implementing modular construction methods, but also how light-gauge steel can be combined with other materials and result in premium finishes.
